IT Project Coordinator Job Opening in minneapolis, Minnesota - IT Project Coordinator It?s not just a job ? it?s an OPPORTUNITY. In between working on the start-up and management of our IT Projects, you will have the opportunity to work in a variety of exciting new domains & technologies such as Social Media, Facebook, collaboration portals, loyalty systems, iPhone and Android Apps, e-commerce integration with Amazon & EBay, and Content Management Systems (CMS), etc. As our IT Project Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating projects and working with our US clients and our offshore delivery team to manage the successful launch, execution, and delivery of our projects. Primary Responsibilities Include: ? Liaison between US Client and Offshore development team ? Proactively manage project progress (Define sub goals, milestones and tasks, time and resource planning) ? Monitor the requirements to accomplish a given project, framework the conditions and development of IT projects ? Daily communication with Offshore team to ensure project timeliness and accountability ? Development of project scope, project plans and develierables ? Communicate with our U.S. clients on a regular basis to keep them updated on project status and technical issues. Recommend process changes and improvements and fine-tune our delivery capabilities. ? Support the sales and business development team efforts relating to discovering project opportunities, and formulating customer proposals and customer presentations. ? Coordinate efforts between local sales and offshore technical team on clarification of proposed client requirements, ensure our offshore team is in sync with client expectations for deliverables and time schedule, monitor quality of deliverables, etc. Must Haves: ? 2-4 Years IT project coordination experience ? Excellent problem analysis and solution skills ? Highly detail orientated; able to manage multiple tasks at one time ? Willingness to learn; wanting to be a part of a self-teaching and learning organization ? Must possess exceptional communication skills, customer service, and organizational skills ? Bachelor?s Degree or equivalent experience ? Solid understanding of technologies used in web application development: , CLR, C# ? Solid understanding of Databases and their functionality ? Ability to think outside of the box to create solutions for both our US clients and our development team ? Tech-Savvy; Word, Excel, Outlook Preferred Skills: ? Prior experience as a Business Analyst ? Prior experience as a Technical Programmer on Microsoft and/or open-source platforms (e.g. Java) You will be working primarily out of our Downtown Minneapolis office with occasional travel to client locations.
