Under the direction of the Program Manager, you will provide direct care support and training to clients in the activities of daily living, personal health and hygiene, fiscal management, leisure skill development, and coping skills.
Required Skills:
Must be at least 18 years old.
Must be able to lift 25 lbs.
Effective oral and written English communication.
Basic math skills.
Will need to be able to pass pre-employment physical and drug test.
Must pass caregiver background check.
High school diploma/GED
Valid driver's license preferred with a relatively clean driving record. Record will be checked.

Principle Duties & Responsibilities:
Provide assistance and/or supervision to clients in activities of daily living, rights advocacy, personal care, personal hygiene, meal planning and preparation, fiscal management, leisure activities, and symptom management according to the clients strengths and needs.
Assist in the provision of planned care for the clients through implementation of their Individualized Service Plan (ISP).
Participate in and successfully complete all required training.
Provide an accurate record of client care and behavior.
Assist in the administration of all prescribed and over the counter medications.
Assist in the coordination of all client community appointments and leisure time activities
Other job-related duties as may be necessary to carry out the responsibilities of Direct Care Staff position.
