Software Engineer - Junior Job Opening in Bellevue, Nebraska - Artemis () has an immediate opening for a well qualified junior Software Engineer working in the Bellevue, Nebraska. The position supports United States Strategic Command (USSTRATCOM) and requires an active DoD Secret Security Clearance. The engineer will build and enhance highly available, scalable, client-server systems used by the customers worldwide.
The engineer will support the development of the Mission Planning and Analysis Common Services (MPACS) system. MPACS supports the collaborative effort to develop nuclear and conventional kinetic/non-kinetic strike options and courses of action (COA) in support of joint operational planning and senior leader decision-making for the Department of Defense (DoD). MPACS allows for the development of specific military plan production and near real-time plan maintenance. It provides plan review and analysis capabilities, mapping, damage calculation, data migration, and plan maintenance.
Education and Experience:
Experience with JAVA, JAVAScript, C++, HMTL5, CSS, SQL, Agile, Service Oriented Architectures, Web Services and Relational Databases is strongly desired.
Bachelor?s degree in an discipline with 5+ years of software engineering experience; or a Master?s degree with 3+ years software engineering experience.
Applicant should possess the knowledge and experience to perform complex and challenging system and specialty engineering tasks with minimal supervision and have demonstrated experience in performing a variety of complicated tasks.
Must be US Citizen; requires an Active DoD Secret security clearance.
