Industrial Services and Equipment Field Sales Representative Job Opening in Phoenix, Arizona - Southwestern Scale Company is in search of a Field Sales Representative. This role is responsible for establishing relationships, growing service based business, and nurturing accounts. The person in this role is to be consistently and actively ?touching customers?. The primary objective is to promote and secure Preventive Maintenance Service Agreements all while maintaining a keen focus on the company?s strategic intent to sell products and solutions that we offer. These objectives are to be conducted while concurrently maintaining the company?s image standards and a high level of customer satisfaction.
RESPONSIBILITIES, SPECIFICATIONS and ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Meet and engage with new and existing customers.
Promote and sell Southwestern Scale Service Agreements in a strategic and focused manner per the direction of the Sales and Business Development Manager.
Represent the company in a professional manner.
It is expected that this person will be engaged and take ownership of the objectives and responsibilities in Field Sales.
Report sales activities on a weekly basis to Sales Management.
Manage and report sales activity in the CRM system.
Using all sales system tools provided for planning, executing, tracking and recording sales activities.
Generate quotes for services and products being offered.
Manage post-sales activities, through completion, assuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
Process orders according to procedural requirements.
Regional travel to new and existing customers, as needed. Overnight travel 20% to 25% of the time.
Identify and properly qualify new business opportunities using available resources.
Provide customer support by responding to customer inquiries and requests.
Partner with current customers to ascertain current needs and generate additional sales.
Work closely with marketing to recognize & promote sales opportunities.
Ensure that databases are current and updated with accurate customer information.
Routinely pull and reference system reports for additional sales opportunities.
Sells consultatively and makes recommendations to prospects and clients of the various solutions the company offers to resolve a customer?s objectives.
Execute timely preparation of all expense reports, call reports and assigned projects.
Demonstrates the ability to carry on a business conversation with business owners, decision makers and gatekeepers.
Meet role objectives as established by Sales and Business Development Manager.
REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in industrial B2B sales or service is required.
Have broad based general knowledge of industrial operations.
Technical degree or certification a plus.
Self-starter, motivated, team focused and results driven.
Strong presentation, organizational, and time management skills.
Demonstrated track record of consistently exceeding sales goals as well as strong negotiation and closing techniques.
Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
Proficient in the use of MS Office.
Exceptional interpersonal skills.
Strong technical skills: able to present technical concepts; provide customers with hands-on technique using our products.
Ability to travel within US Southwest, with potential multiple overnight stays.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $42,000.00 to $52,000.00 /year
