Junior Level Database Developer Job Description:
CCGroup is seeking a junior level database developer with 3 to 5 years of experience. The junior level database developer will be part of a team that has responsibility for maintaining, building, and testing database creation and load scripts for the CCGroup Analytics reporting platform. You will be responsible for the overall health and performance of databases as well as the creation and enhancement of SQL queries used in generating reports. You will be actively involved in the testing and deployment of database tools for both Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle environments.
Junior Level Database Developer Responsibilities:
Participate in complete software development life cycle, with a focus on database design and development.
Write and maintain SQL queries for reporting front end, in both MS SQLServer and Oracle databases.
Develop and enhance scripts to manage database processes (creating, loading, archiving).
Create and maintain stored procedures that manage complex database tasks.
Assist in the resolution of database issues (both internally and for external customers).
Junior Level Database Developer Qualifications:
Must have a BS in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent work experience
Experience with relational database best practices
Strong knowledge of PL/SQL
Experience with SSIS and/or other data integration utilities
Experience with either MS SQL Server or Oracle environments (both is a plus)
Experience in Windows and UNIX (Linux) environments.
