PolkBeder LLC is seeking an Accountant with previous public accounting experience. She/he will work closely with our partners to serve our clients, helping grow our practice, with the opportunity to become part of firm ownership.
Candidates should possess experience and aptitude in financial accounting and reporting, tax preparation, and research.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
Managing multiple client projects
Preparing and reviewing tax returns for individuals, trusts, corporations, partnerships,
not-for-profit, and payroll
Developing client relationships through networking and other business development activities
Researching and analyzing technical issues
DESIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
Active CPA license or willingness to obtain in determined amount of time
3 - 5 years public accounting experience
Experience with QuickBooks and Creative Solutions Professional Suite helpful
Experience with Microsoft Office preferred
Attention to detail, accuracy, and deadlines
Strong written and verbal communication
Skilled problem-solver with strong research and analytic ability
Team player with leadership skills
