My client is seeking an seeking a Regional Sales Rep to cover their US West Coast territory. They are the industry leader in the design and manufacture of intelligent control systems focused on "green" solutions and resource management.
They are a fast growing and well established company with an employee focused team culture looking to add a new sales team member.
Our client is the leader in innovation, design and manufacture of green solutions for water conservation and control within the commercial markets. Their technology is the most dependable, user-friendly control systems found in the industry today. The customer base includes nearly 400 facilities nationwide and in other countries around the world.
Call points : Rep will call on target facilities and in facility design selling the company's industry leading electronic plumbing controls product line.
Duties : Business development and account management within the territory calling on facilities to offer them a savings solution on average of 70% in water related costs. Ability to use a highly consultative approach required.
Travel : 50-75% weekly travel by plane expected for sales calls, trade shows, account management, etc. (full expense budget). You must be able to thrive in a high overnight travel work environment . Mileage reimbursement on any auto travel.
Income, etc. : Base salary is $40k with commission year 1 $70-100k total. Year 2 is $90-120k total. Top rep is earning $140k -- Uncapped commissions

Education : 4 year degree required (Engineering or business degree preferred)
Experience: Minimum 2 year outside sales experience. Selling an industrial product in the commercial, government or institutional market preferred. Experience using a based sales approach selling a product with a longer sales cycle preferred. Our client will consider any talented, hard driving, productive outside sales reps with strong presentation skills and a desire to learn and grow.
