REPORTS TO : ASSISTANT CONTROLLER
Qualifications
Required: High School Diploma or equivalent
Preferred: Previous experience with sales and marketing, with postal regulations set by the USPS. Willingness to work with persons with disabilities in a structured community setting
Required: A working knowledge of computers and excel; training in First Aid and CPR, and participation in ongoing training provided by/for Harbor House employees.
Position Summary
The Mail & Fulfillment Specialist is responsible for the mail jobs completed for each individual company and for the operations of the production area. The Mail & Fulfillment Specialist will instruct each customer on the proper procedures to be followed when processing their jobs. These jobs shall be completed with the services and programs Harbor House offers. The Mail & Fulfillment Specialist will oversee the work of the Mail Department staff regarding the flow of work, giving special attention to timeliness and quality of work completed. The Mail & Fulfillment Specialist will market and outreach to obtain mail and fulfillment projects for Harbor House of Louisville. The Mail & Fulfillment Specialist reports to the Assistant Controller.
Primary Responsibilities
Satisfy individual company?s request for mailing requirements including:
*Work with company databases and mail pieces to meet the needs
of all USPS qualification standards
*Work with individual companies and their job requirements
*Maintain Quality Standards
*Ensure timeliness of work performed
*Provide services in accordance with established policies and standards
*Networking in the community
Train Mail Department staff on appropriate production procedures.
Do monthly and yearly reports of onsite production
Provide the accurate and timely paperwork for billing of invoices for each completed mail/fulfillment job
Print reports for Accounting regarding receipts and billing for postage, delivery and job invoice sheets.
The Mail & Fulfillment Specialist will market and outreach to obtain mail and fulfillment projects for Harbor House of Louisville.
Distribute pertinent mail requirement information to prospective customers and assist them if any questions
Participate in on-going professional development with USPS training and updates.
Work with employees on computer issues/concerns and software updates as needed.
