Staff Accountant Job Opening in Salt Lake City, Utah - Staff Accountant
Finch is currently experiencing rapid growth. We are seeking an experienced staff accountant to join our accounting team. The Staff Accountant will be responsible for assisting with book keeping, collections, reimbursements, paying vendors, etc. This individual must be knowledgeable, upbeat and collaborative.
Job Responsibilities
Prepare accounting related entries to numerous registers, journals, and logs
Follow our company?s established accounting processes
Support accounts payable activities to ensure accuracy and timeliness of invoice creation and entry
Support accounts receivable with collecting and processing payments
Perform monthly bank settlements
Regularly maintain detailed reconciliations of all balance sheet accounts
Provide detailed analyses and explanations of all transactions
Prepare documentation for external auditors
Experience and Skills
Bachelor?s Degree in Accounting or Finance required
3+ years? experience in accounting or related field
The key traits for this position: great with numbers, ambitious, and able to quickly build trust
Proficient in Quickbooks and Excel
Strong written and oral communication skills
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Strong organizational and analytical skills
Able to read and understand technical forms and financial reports
Willingness to establish and maintain effective working relationships
Experience working with a start up SaaS Company
