DownEast Outfitters is seeking a motivated and pro-active individual to work as a Furniture Production Accountant. This is a full-time (40 + hours per week), non-exempt level position. Our ideal candidate must be detail-oriented, willing to work in a fast-paced environment and to take ownership of assigned work areas. Should have experience in various accounting disciplines. Must have experience with Excel and other MS business applications.
Job Responsibilities
Responsible for all accounting functions and tasks within Production team Create and update budgets Create and update styles/SKUS (style set up) in NAV (Navision)/Storis Create Purchase orders and PO revisions Track and review all invoices related to import purchases. Perform reconciliations Update weekly merchandise payable forecasting Assist with other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Accounting/Finance degree OR 1-plus year experience in field Microsoft Dynamics NAV or Storis experience a plus, but willing to train Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Excel Candidate must be a good team player Must have strong communication and customer service skills Self-starter and ability to work well under pressure Strong attention to detail, organization, and ability to multi-task
