Accounts Payable Analyst - Healthcare CPT Codes Experience P... Job Opening in Virginia Beach, Virginia - A dynamic, growing healthcare company seeks an accounts payable specialist to process payables for lab work, physical services, diagnostics, etc using CPT codes. This role is full cycle meaning you'll be responsible for vendor setup, invoice processing, matching, payment processing, reconciliation & month end, and analysis/trending.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Understand and apply AP processes, policies, procedures, and internal control standards.
Manage subcontractor invoices, including monthly accruals, reporting, reconciling and analyzing financial impact
Respond timely to all vendor inquiries.
Reconcile vendor statements, research, and correct variances.
Prioritize invoices for processing to ensure that all purchase discounts are secured.
Monitor, follow-up and communicate all open items to AP Manager.
Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Keys to Success :
Thrives in a fast-paced environment with limited oversight
CPT code experience billing physicians, labs, etc is preferred.
Is well organized and very detailed
Can handle multiple priorities
Can communicate at all levels of the organization
Strong Excel skills!
Account reconciliations experience.
BS degree preferred but not required.
Is able to problem-solve and deep-dive into processes
Is a team-player with strong relationship building skills and an assertive and professional personality
