Medical Client Services/Account Executive Job Opening in Virginia Beach, Virginia - IMA is a 22 year old company, proudly offering unique services in all types of medical billing, coding and consulting services to the healthcare industry. We are looking for a new addition to our team.
Because of the diverse client population we serve, this position is fast paced and requires a broad range of knowledge and skills. In addition to strong client service skills, we are looking for a seasoned executive that possesses a flexible yet determined leadership style, as well as advanced skills in analytical thinking. The candidate should have the ability to meet with our clients to review reports, discuss trends and advise of upcoming changes in the health care billing, coding and accounts receivable management. Occasional traveling is required.
Experience
A minimum of 10 years prior experience working in medical billing office, billing company, healthcare industry or related field.
A minimum of 5 years prior management experience in the healthcare medical billing office or health care industry or related field.
Required/Preferred Skills :
Insurance Carrier knowledgeable (required)
CPT & ICD-9/ICD-10 knowledgeable (required)
Major Carrier reimbursement policy familiarity (required)
Strong management skills to include assessment and optimization of staff work flow and development of metrics for determination of employee performance
The ability to dissect client financial data, recognize potential problem areas and trends and develop and present summaries to clients in an manner
Budgeting
The ability to evaluate practice process and make viable recommendations for improvement
Develop new revenue streams by presenting at speaking engagements, creating marketing materials, pricing new business and writing proposals and client contracts
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Knowledge and understanding of MIPS/MACRA
Experience with EHR software in both the hospital and private office setting
Understanding of interfaces and conversions
