Medical Instrument Repair Job Opening in Allentown, Pennsylvania - This is a great opportunity to join a growing organization in the healthcare field. In this position, you will act as the primary surgical instrument service representative for hospitals and surgery centers. If you have experience or knowledge working with surgical instruments and you're interested in using that knowledge in a new way, or if you have experience directly repairing instruments, this job might be for you!
Primary responsibilities include:
Identify surgical instruments by type, surgical use and required functionality
Adjust, align, adhere, braze, stencil, serrate, sharpen, deburr, replace parts, finish and passivate surgical instruments to required functionality
Identify, document and communicate non-repairable issues on all instrument types
Enter all repair information into Repair Manager, provide service reporting and microscopic images/ documentation on non-repairable damage
Lead quality business reviews, sales calls and other customer interaction
Develop pipeline of prospective sales opportunities
Pursue sales opportunities
Deliver Instrument Care and Handling In-Service presentation
