Rental Equipment ~ Counter Sales (Bluffton) Job Opening in Bluffton, South carolina - We are looking for an energetic, committed, dependable and goal-oriented individual who wants to join a world-class organization. As a Counter Sales Representative, you will solicit and service new and existing customers to maintain and increase the company?s customer base.
Monday ? Friday 8:30AM-5:00PM ? every 3rd Saturday from 8:30AM-1:00PM
Major Job Duties:
Opening the rental office and performing daily yard checks
Assist customers and contractors with rental needs
Complete rental agreements and paperwork
Handle telephone inquiries in a professional manner
Equipment maintenance coordination
Inspect equipment when it is returned, and record information as needed
Additionally, this position is responsible for handling cash and assigning and locating equipment for future reservations
Maintain daily contract file
Alert supervisor of overdue contracts/ balance daily sales receipts
Locate and accurately quote rental rates
Answer incoming phone calls; 1st or 2nd answer, depending on situation on counter
Supply current/appropriate safety sheets and written instruction
Maintain rental and resale inventory, operating equipment and physical plant
Maintain quality control standards.
Perform other duties as assigned
Experience and Skills Required:
High School degree or equivalent
Identifying and assessing customer customers? needs to achieve satisfaction
Effective verbal communication skills, selling practices and techniques
Must be able to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
Experience with computers Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
Point of Rental---rental software a plus
Previous Hardware experience is a PLUS
Must have Customer Service skills
Requires 1 to 3 years? experience in sales, equipment rental and sales
