Director of Operations - Full-time Chiropractic Job Opening in Downers Grove, Illinois - Opening for a full-time chiropractic manager of operations in our long-established Downers Grove clinic. We are a multi-doctor practice providing services that range from chiropractic manipulation to exercise rehab to massage therapy to acupuncture to nutritional consultation. In order to be considered for this position you must have significant experience in healthcare management and an excellent grasp of the ever-changing trends in our industry.
Job requirements:
--Extensive experience with multiple facets of billing codes, patient eligibility factors, insurance submissions (Availity) and electronic medical records systems (certified coding qualification a plus)
-Previous human resource management experience with healthcare staff -- to include hiring, training, remediation and employee review duties (this assumes strong capability around objective communication skills)
--Experience with both working a healthcare clinic front desk and knowledge of medical software programs (we use ChiroTouch) - in this position you will be required to completely learn and work with our software program
--A strong background in medical business finance to include an understanding of statistical reporting, financial goal setting, etc.
--Ability to provide regular reports to staff and top management (presumes excellent skills around Excel and other related programs)
--An understanding of Illinois labor laws as they relate to the employer's relationship with employees
--An understanding of protocol related to Workman's Comp and Personal Injury claims
--Able and willing to work 40+ on-site hours per week Mondays through Fridays along with an occasional Saturday
--Experience with healthcare payment environments to include establishing contracts with insurance companies
