Retail Store Merchandiser Job Opening in Bozeman, Montana - Harrington Bottling Company has a openings for full and part time retail store merchandisers in the Bozeman area. We are looking for a motivated, responsible, and positive individual to work an established route. The individual may work independently or with others during the day. The merchandiser will arrange beverage products from the backroom to shelves, coolers, racks and displays on a pre-determined customer list. Merchandising routes may be local or out of town depending on the day of the week and customer demand. We are interested in individuals with strong work ethic, customer service skills, and ambition to move up.
This position requires regular lifting, carrying, pulling and/or moving of products on hand trucks, delivery carts, and/or pallets periodically throughout the workday. The position also requires kneeling, squatting, crouching, crawling, and bending when delivering and merchandising products. The job often requires the individual to work in small areas and climb stairs and steps.
Salary: $10.00 - $12.00 per hour DOE
PRIMARY ACCOUNTABILITIES :
Merchandising of products to shelves, coolers, racks and on displays.
Maintaining and organizing back stock
Building product displays and placing display and shelf signage as required
Rotating existing store product and delivered products regularly
Providing additional service as requested by the customer
Providing and building positive working relationships with customer accounts
Identifying incremental sales opportunities and communicating to Sales Representatives
Hours of work may include weekends, holidays, and early evenings
Regular, reliable, predictable attendance
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
18 years or older
Must have a valid driver's license, reliable car, and current auto insurance
Must successfully pass background, drug, and functional abilities test
HELPFUL EXPERIENCE:
Retail merchandising especially in beverage industry
Customer service skills (e.g., resolving customer issues, ensuring appropriate communication with store managers, follow through on customer requests, etc.)
