CNA - Certified Nursing Assistant- IMMEDIATE OPENINGS! Job Opening in Missoula, Montana - Working at Interim HealthCare as an CNA/HHA you will be working in client's homes who need more care then family or friends can provide or discharged clients from a hospital/rehab who will have relatively short-term needs.
Not only will our aides provide light housekeeping and homemaking tasks such as laundry, change bed linens, shop for food, plan and prepare meals; they will also help with bathing, dressing, and grooming and accompany to doctors' appointments or on other errands.
Home care aides provide instructions and psychological support to their clients. They may advise our supervisors, families and patients on nutrition, cleanliness and household task.
Working as an aide can be physically demanding; moving patients in and out of bed or helping them stand or walk. Some tasks can be considered unpleasant such as; emptying bedpans and changing soiled bed linens. Patient's may be disoriented, irritable, or uncooperative. Although the work can be emotionally demanding a great aide will gain satisfaction from assisting those in need.
Our aides are responsible for getting to client's homes and may spend a part of the working day traveling from one patient to another. Our aides can work part-time/PRN, days, evenings, nights or weekends to suit their needs.
Requirements include:
State certified in Montana as a Certified Nurse Aide
Current TB
Current 1 year experience
