Boiler Engineer Job Opening in Baltimore, Maryland - Building/Boiler Engineer needed in Baltimore, MD
MUST:
Building Engineer
3+ Years of experience as a boiler operating engineer
Must have 2nd Grade Stationary Engineer License or 1st Grade Stationary Engineer License
Must have a valid Driver's License
Must have a High school Diploma
Experience working in a Healthcare industry is a plus
DUTIES :
The Building Engineer will be responsible for but not limited to the following:
Operates and monitors the boiler room and HVAC equipment per manufacturers' specifications so as to minimize down time, avoid inconvenience to in-house customers and extend the life expectancy of the equipment
Reads meters and gages to verify operation conditions
Adjusts manual controls or overrides automatic controls as required
Maintains equipment room log books
Makes rounds to equipment rooms daily to ensure proper functioning equipment
Visually inspects equipment to detect malfunctions or need for repair, adjustment or lubrication
Maintains, troubleshoots and repairs equipment and components to ensure continuous equipment operation
Repairs equipment by interpreting schematics or equipment manuals to successful completion
Creates parts orders with all necessary ordering information to successfully repair facility equipment
Other Duties as required
