Sales Support Representative Job Opening in Northbrook, Illinois - This position is a support position that will work in an administrative capacity for new financial representatives in their first 3 years. The Sales Execution Team member is a position that requires a dynamic individual who possesses both organizational and interpersonal skills. This individual must also be able to maintain strict confidences and keep all information confidential
Key Responsibilities
Organization
Act as an ?Organization Coach? to help reps stay focused on their daily activities
Track representatives? case-opens via company database
Keep detailed notes in company database
Prioritize most important tasks
Maintain organized desk and systems
Administrative
Set up cubicles for new representatives prior to their start date
Create insurance and investment file folders for clients
General POS and CSS service requests
Assist the new reps in achieving Pacesetter First 40 and Second 60
Cut and paste case notes from Copytalk into client management database
Input qualified suspects into client management database
Greet clients as they arrive
Maintain conference room schedule
Answer phones
Gather and distribute mid-day and end of day mail
Receive incoming packages and FedEx
Process investment checks
Marketing
Run birthday and age change reports
Order business cards, stationary, marketing materials and general office supplies
New Business
Call medical examiners to set up medicals with clients
Fill out insurance application prior to client appointment
Pre-check and copy applications and submit it to the appropriate individuals
Follow up on cases in underwriting including contacting the client for outstanding requirements
Prepare policies to be delivered by representative and obtain Policy Delivery Acknowledgement from clients
Minimum Job Requirements
Associate agent contract within six months
General insurance experience preferred
Bachelor?s degree preferred
Knowledge of computer technology, specifically Windows and navigating the internet
Customer Service and/or marketing experience preferred
Good interpersonal skills
Strong communication skills, written and verbal, with ability to develop and maintain rapport with professionals at all levels
Proven ability to independently set schedules and handle multiple priority assignments with strict deadlines
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality is essential
Ability to use high degree of diplomacy in handling difficult situations
Team oriented
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $35,000.00 to $40,000.00 /year
