If you have AT LEAST one -two years of RETAIL experience, preferably in the apparel industry (or college degree equivalent,) have a keen eye for visual merchandising, are operationally sound and most importantly have a proven track record of DRIVING SALES this position may be right for you! GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF ROLE: The Assistant Store Management position assists in maximizing profits, sales, customer service and more. The Store Manager must uphold company standards, merchandise the store to maximize aesthetics, as well as other operational functions at the individual store location. Managers are also responsible for the training and development of their associate team in order to maximize productivity. KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY: o Exceed store sales plan o Exceed company?s statistical productivity expectations o Analyze sales performance and develop strategies to meet company sales expectations o Communicate and execute strategies in order to promote a sales driven environment o Assist in recruiting store team and meeting staffing needs o Assist in the interviewing and hiring process o Train and develop store team o Assist in reinforcing the companies visual presentation o Ensure store team complies with all company policies and procedures o Assist in monitoring payroll and adhering to budget o Control shortage by utilizing loss prevention procedures QUALIFICATIONS FOR POSITION: o 1-2 years experience in retail management o Prior experience in retail industry o Bachelors degree in related field strongly suggested o Strong leadership skills o Excellent written and oral communication skills o Strong critical thinking and problem solving skills o Enthusiastic about business o Desire to grow and develop within career and industry Do you meet the above QUALIFICATIONS?
