Responsibilities include: Develop effective lesson plans and use instructional materials to provide individualized and small group instruction Fulfills all responsibilities and duties of a classroom teacher, including following curriculum guidelines, administering assessments, reporting progress, and maintaining appropriate documentation Meet student instructional needs, establishing clear goals and evaluates student progress Communicates effectively, both orally and in writing, with students, parents, and other professionals on a regular basis Demonstrates gains in student performance Knowledge of and experience with RtI and interventions Knowledge of and experience teaching Everyday Math and Houghton Mifflin reading curriculum preferred Learning Environment Effective classroom management skills Provides a positive environment in which students are encouraged to be actively engaged in the learning process.
