OGFC is currently selling 90% of all retailers and is the leader in the snacks and confections industry.
We are looking for an individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment, likes to be challenged and travel, and values the opportunity to make a difference. This is an office-based position.
General Summary
The Sales Executive will be responsible for leading, managing and profitably growing our existing base business as well as securing new business with defined new accounts. Customer responsibilities will likely include a cross section of both strategic and transactional business. Leading in collaboration with marketing and effectively managing cross functional resources (marketing, product development, supply chain, and insights) is critical for success. The Sales Executive must be able to think and lead strategically, both internally and externally, linking strategies between organizations and influencing all parties/functions on joint initiatives to deliver business objectives.
Principal Accountabilities
Think and lead strategically, in collaboration with marketing and cross functional team, to link internal and external strategies, and influence all parties on initiatives needed to deliver joint business objectives
Prioritize, aggressively pursue and secure new scaled business with new customers, to deliver AOP objectives
Effectively manage and grow existing business/expand portfolio with existing customers, accelerating both top and bottom line
Job Complexity
Must be able to effectively interact with wide range of levels within customers
Must be able to think and lead strategically, identifying opportunities, developing plan, influencing, and implementing
Must be able to effectively collaborate with marketing and lead cross functional partners
Must possess high level of executive selling and negotiations skills
Moderate level of administrative responsibility
Job Specifications
Bachelor?s degree required, with MBA preferred
Possess excellent selling and negotiation skills
Possess excellent written and verbal communications skills
Possess excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills
Independent, self starter
Strong analytical skills with ability to think and lead strategically
Possess excellent listening and problem solving skills.
Possess excellent time management skills
National travel required
