Vice President of Sales Job Opening in Mentor, Ohio - POSITION SUMMARY
The VP of sales will lead the sales growth and success of Race Winning Brands (RWB). The role will provide leadership, communicate strategic direction and lead the activities of the RWB sales organization. The VP will foster a winning sales culture and will be accountable for driving new revenue growth and the profitability of the business.
CORE ACTIVITIES
Develop and implement a global sales strategy that drives exceptional industry leading results. Benchmarks need to be versus industry and best in class benchmarks outside of the performance aftermarket.
Create a culture of accountability that motivates and empowers the sales team to achieve results
Champions a culture that adapts easy to change and easily changes direction based on the dynamics of our changing business
Foster a learning organization that leverages internal and external resources to provide opportunities for the sales team to increase knowledge
Provides strategic guidance, insight and knowledge about market trends, customer attitudes, and effectiveness of the sales strategy
Develop a robust channel management strategy moving forward and focus on each channel?s niche requirements. Additionally, develop and implement effective MAP policy to support the overall channel management strategy.
Develop and execute a distribution strategy and build key/national/global account relationships
Expansion of services and capabilities for our direct dealer network
Develop strategy and engagement for developing internet channel partners
Expand our expertise at supporting engine builder requirements through product application, development and value added services.
Oversees and approves budget planning and sales forecasting
Development of and active participation in ongoing market needs assessments to help drive efficient product development, marketing communications operations capabilities enhancements and services that will accelerate sales.
Active participation in various industry association meetings and trade shows to reinforce market presence and leadership by RWB, e.g. SEMA, Motorcycle Industry Council (MIC), etc.
Expertise in the implementation and deployment of CRM tools and methodologies.

Education
Bachelor?s degree required,
Master?s degree/MBA preferred
Experience
Minimum seven (10) years? experience in a leadership role
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Sales focused position
Industry experience will have strong consideration
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

MS Office Suite, Excel, Microsoft Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Project, CRM, ERP/MRP
