Sales Manager Furniture Job Opening in Norcross, Georgia - We are looking for a dynamic sales leader for our Norcross, GA furniture store. This is a career opportunity for the right candidate. We need a hands-on highly successful sales manager with operational skills and tenacity; this location has a small staff and all showroom team members, which you would be one of, actively work with clients to drive and close sales.
We offer medical, dental and vision insurance; hands-on training; this is a salary plus commission environment. Earnings based on the store's performance.

The primary responsibilities of this position include:
Be a sales team participant -- work with clients, prepare estimates and bids that meet specific customer needs, help close deals.
Manage day-to-day operations of the store, including bank deposits, ordering supplies, tracking expense, enforcing policies, using Salesforce, etc.
Direct, mentor and supervise employees including sales floor, administrative support and warehouse personnel.
Monitor sales activities to ensure that customers receive satisfactory service and quality goods.
Teach staff on how to handle difficult and/or complicated sales and situations.
Hold local inventory team accountable on product, verify stock quantities and shipping logs/expenditures.
Oversees shipping and receiving, local delivery and pick-up - participate as needed.
Reinforce brand and philosophy with confidence.
Stage incoming products, and ensure that it is correctly priced and functions as advertised.
Hire, train and evaluate personnel for all store positions, promoting or terminating workers in conjunction with management, when necessary.
Minimum Qualifications:
5+ years managing in a retail sales environment, office furniture industry desired.
Experience closing sales in a commission based environment.
Advanced technical skills, demonstration will be required.
Experience with SalesForce, a strong plus.
Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
Must be able to think creatively and critically.
Space planning experience, a strong plus.
Critical Requirements:
Appropriate full-time work experience is mandatory (no students or fresh graduates please)
Recent experience in the B2B commission sales industry is strongly preferred
Preference will be given to candidates with recent experience in hands-on sales management
Compensation:
Full time, Monday-Friday with standard hours and a base salary plus commission
