Software and Database Developer Job Opening in Wheaton, Illinois - Our UIT/FTA Administration department is currently seeking an experienced software developer to support, maintain, and enhance existing systems in addition to participate in development of new systems, which may include web development. This position requires proficiency with relational databases and object-oriented programming, exceptional prolem-solving skills, highly effective communication skills and strong self-motivation.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or comparable experience will be accepted in lieu of a degree; demonstrable understanding of and facility with programming language fundamentals as well as Microsoft Windows operating system fundamentals and Microsoft Word and Excel application; experience with Microsoft SharePoint and/or web development is a plus.
