Accounting Manager Job Opening in Phoenix, Arizona - The accounting manager is responsible for supporting the hotel controller and/or assistant controller in maintaining the hotel's financial records in compliance with management company standard operating procedures and professional accounting requirements.
Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
1. Maintains accounting for the hotel including general ledger maintenance and balance sheet reconciliations.
2. Prepares financial reports, as required to comply with management company standard operating procedures.
3. Monitors expenses throughout the year and confers with appropriate personnel regarding discrepancies or variances from budgeted and forecasted expectations.
4. Compiles, verifies and reports payroll information to payroll processing service.
5. Supports hotel department personnel in their internal control compliance and financial information needs.
6. Monitors and maintains hotel internal controls in accordance with management company standard operating procedures.
7. Performs other related accounting duties and functions as assigned by the controller and/or assistant controller.
Job Requirements
3 years? experience in hotel accounting (Management)
Four year college degree or equivalent educational experience
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Computer literate in current operating software including Delphi, Word and Excel
Strong time management skill
Background Check and Drug Test are required previous hiring process.
