Staff Accountant Job Opening in Pasco, Washington - Accountant for growing Federally Qualified Health Center. Under the direction of the Accounting Supervisor, the Staff Accountant is responsible for preparing the Organization's monthly financial statements, managing the financial close, ensuring the accuracy of financial transactions and compliance with company policies and procedures along with a specific focus on recording, analyzing and reconciling cash.
Requirements: A Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, and 2 years of accounting experience including financial statement reporting and analysis, cash management and managing general ledger.
Exposure to federal/state contracts and grants and experience in a health care setting preferred but not required.
Candidates must have knowledge of and experience in applying GAAP, strong analytical skills and excel skills, very strong interpersonal skills (written and oral) and the ability to communicate effectively with multiple levels of personnel.
Must be able to operate effectively under tight deadlines and be a strong team player with solid cross group colllaboration skills, communication, and presentation skills.
