Automobile Dealer Accounting Manager Job Opening in Fayetteville, Tennessee - The Accounting Manager?s role covers three primary areas of responsibility: (1) All accounting, financial reporting, financial planning and coordination with the company?s independent CPA?s for tax and annual reporting matters; (2) Business operations and administration, including human resources management, employee benefits administration, risk management and attending to other general business matters; and (3) General office management responsibilities. This position requires automobile dealership accounting experience.
The Accounting Manager will develop strong professional relationships with other department managers in order to coordinate management of the business, information flow and to resolve issues impacting the financial performance of the business.
The Accounting Manager reports to the Owners of the Company and requires a high degree of trust and is expected to conduct all business operations and decision making with the highest ethical standards. The Accounting Manager should have strong communications, customer service, organizational and leadership skills.
Requirements & Duties for the Accounting Manager position:
A 4-year or 2-year degree in accounting or related field and at least 5 years of solid accounting experience, including automobile dealership accounting .
Oversight or responsibility for accounting and financial reporting functions.
Full-charge month-end closeout, financial statement preparation and general ledger reconciliations.
Accounts payable
Banking and cash management
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Applications and the ability to quickly learn new software
Knowledge and experience implementing accounting processes and internal controls procedures
Automobile dealership experience is a plus
