Decision-Point Support Staff Job Opening in Bentonville, Arkansas - JOB SUMMARY
Monitor client activity and assist with housekeeping duties while on duty. Assist in the monitoring of classes, as needed, to include groups and individual sessions. Participate in educational activities involving clients for client safety purposes. Participate in in-house workshops and seminars. This position requires flexibility, good interpersonal and high-level communication skills, and ability to work with staff and consumers.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Ensure client compliance with client rules and regulations.
Transport clients to off-site activities.
Report with on-coming and out-going staff on progress of clients, discharges, new clients and any items of significance that pertains to client care.
Meet the following requirements within the first 24 hours of a client?s admission: read and review client rules, complete client inventory and assign client to a bed.
Assist in drug testing and documentation of clients.
Provide back-up as needed on Detox Unit to include providing direct care such as vital signs, nutritional and hydration monitoring for client care and safety. Contact nurse in charge as needed while on duty.
Adhere to all Company policies and procedures.
Adhere to HIPAA Privacy Rule and the federal law regarding Confidentiality of Clients (42 CFR, Part 2)
Additional assignments as required.

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school education or equivalent; related experience preferred but not required.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Must have and maintain a valid driver's license, acceptable driving record, and current auto insurance.
Must have and maintain certification in CPR, First Aid, CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention), RADD (Regional Alcohol and Drug Detoxification) and Blood Borne Pathogens.
Must maintain MHPP certification. MHPPs are required to successfully complete 40 hours of prescribed classroom training within 2 months following employment or demonstrate that they have received the training while working for another company.
