Currently seeking a Staff Accountant for the island's largest IT data center in the Honolulu/Airport area. The Staff Accountant will report to the Accounting Manager and will be responsible for AP, AR, invoicing, filings and providing accounting support to the department. Staff Accountant Job Duties:
Verify and accurately code vendor invoices
Process customer check receipts and record into accounting system
Maintain proper filing of all customer sales orders
Update monthly budget to actual financial statements weekly
Post month-end, quarter-end accruals to ensure that monthly close will be completed on time
Customer follow up and assist administrative staff when necessary
Staff Accountant Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent education
Minimum 4 years accounting experience and understanding of AP/AR relationship to GL
Experience with Sage Peachtree Accounting experience or equivalent software
Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
