O-D Tool is a family owned business that was established in 1959. We are a cutting tool manufacturer and regrind house as well as a distributor for various companies. We are seeking a professional, team-oriented, well-spoken, enthusiastic, self-starter to become a part of our customer service/inside sales team. We are looking for the right individual to make a difference and grow with the company.
Responsibilities
Assist in taking orders from our customers and implementing them into our system.
Provide customers with verbal and/or written quotations, and delivery information.
Assist the sales staff by providing quotes, reports, and other customer requests.
Make calls to regular and prospective customers to sell new or additional products.
Acquire and continuously develop product and technical knowledge to assist customers with proper selection and use of our products and services.
Qualifications
Maintains strong customer service skills.
Strong interpersonal skills.
Demonstrates ability to be self-motivated.
Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
Proficient in Microsoft Office .
Flexibility to go above and beyond to help customers.
Attention to detail with the ability to work in a fast paced environment.
Positive attitude.
Cutting tool knowledge and/or machining background preferred.
Knowledge of Sage Accounting software preferred.
