Accounts Payable Specialist Job Opening in Milford, Connecticut - The Accounts Payable Clerk will be responsible for the day-to-day processing of invoices and checks. Duties include sorting and organizing invoices and check requests, preparing payments and creating monthly reports, assisting in month-end\year-end closing and maintaining vendor files. This involves problem solving with vendors, working with multiple departments within Applied Intelligence to confirm invoices, and creative thinking for continuous process improvement.
Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Review and enter all invoices
Verify and enter all employee expense reports
Prepare and Process weekly check runs
Enter Purchase Orders in the system
Prepare Monthly Accounts Payable reports
Qualifications:
High School Diploma Require
Bachelors Degree is a plus
1+ Year of Accounts Payable experience
Work directly with vendors on discrepancies
Answer Vendor phone calls and email queries
Other accounting responsibilities and functions as necessary
Experience in Intacct accounting system or SAP is a plus
Job Type: Full-time
