Position Summary
The Marketing Campaign Management Product Manager (Product Manager) will be responsible for taking new business ideas from concept to prototype to market launch, and is accountable for the development, planning and execution of product strategy and requirements. The successful candidate will aggressively clarify the CMC value proposition in the MCCM vertical, and then execute a tight, well-reasoned, product strategy.
Essential Responsibilities
The Product Manager will use external market research as well as client input to drive feature design and execution. The Product Manager bridges the gap between the business and technical teams within CMC by designing features that address marketplace needs and/or differentiating opportunities and -
Setting the product strategy for MCCM solutions
Prioritizing required features and coordinating product schedules with Engineering
Building and maintaining an investment roadmap; and
Monitoring and measuring launched products and feeding learnings back into the product development process
Key specific responsibilities for this role include:
Developing deep understanding of the needs of clients through market and competitive research
Translating strategic client and market understanding into product requirements
Managing design and development process across internal and external stakeholders
Optimizing client user experience through intuition, analysis of quantitative test data and qualitative research
Monitoring the health of projects at all times
Leading the resolution of cross-functional issues
Establishing metrics of product success and monitoring results to adjust product strategy
Designing and authoring product documentation such as product announcements, bulletins, or release notes

Academic
Bachelor?s degree in a technical discipline, preferably computer science or computer engineering
MBA or Masters in Information Management, Computer Science or Business Administration preferred
Functional experience:
Minimum 5 years of Product Management experience designing software applications
Prior experience at midsized software company highly preferred or;
Prior experience working in marketing for a financial services company would be plus.
Skills and abilities
Proven track record of bringing a product from concept to completion, ideally related to joining together the backend and front-end of an application developed with the user experience in mind
Specific Product Management experience with marketing automation or marketing campaign management solutions (SFDC, Marketing, Eloqua)
Demonstrated experience at setting product direction, prioritizing product objectives, developing product roadmaps
Experience developing product features within the Agile development environment
Strong oral and written communication skills. Able to effectively present project, procedure and status updates and/or proposals to peers and upper levels of management
Ability to easily communicate technical software topics
Possess strong decision making and prioritization skills; have experience overseeing and managing complex production schedules
Demeanor: Passionate about user experience; energized to inspire and lead cross-functional teams
Ability and willingness to travel up to 20%
Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Understanding the technical architecture of complex web applications and services
Prior experience in software development and/or software product management
Prior experience with MVP and PMF product development methodology
