Junior JavaScript Application Developer Job Opening in Black Mountain, North carolina - We are looking for a recent college grad or a current college student with at least 2 years of college or technical school to serve as part of a team to develop, enhance, debug, support, maintain, and test web-based software applications using AngularJS, . (Our stack is AngularJS on the front end and / / Sequelize / PostgreSQL on the back end.) Participate in the design, development, and implementation of complex applications, often using new technologies. No travel or relocation required. Work remotely from your home. Our team is spread across the U.S.
TopFitPros is an early-stage SaaS health and fitness startup nearing commercial launch of our first product. We are building a suite of applications to automate online personal training, including planning healthy meals and providing guided tailored workouts.
Required Qualifications:
- Excellent academic background in software development
- Strong understanding of AngularJS and JavaScript rich web application development
- Solid understanding of the principles of design of RESTful APIs
- Knowledge of git or a similar version control system
- Experience working on a team
- Self-motivated worker
- Good communication skills
- A commitment to good software design principles and robust, readable code
- Intelligent, a fast learner, with the ability to effectively understand large, interconnected, and complicated system.
- A desire to learn and grow
- Willingness to grapple with troubleshooting code in a system has been in development for a couple of years
- Must be available to work at least 20 hours a week

- DevOps skills (Linux, AWS, Elastic Beanstalk, S3)
- Experience using at least some of these tools: Vagrant, Drush, Bower, and Grunt, SASS

- Coursework or experience provisioning and managing linux server deployments
