Full Charge Bookkeeper/Accounting Manager Job Opening in Danville, California - FULL CHARGE BOOKKEEPER
Established East Bay distribution company seeks a Full-Charge Bookkeeper/ Accounting Manager for a busy multi-entity firm. As the Bookkeeper, you will process A/P for all companies along with some A/R responsibilities, bank reconciliations, cash flows, payroll entry duties and post journal entries. A successful candidate will have effective organizing skills, time management skills, and extreme attention to detail and accuracy. Some filing and covering phones may be required.
Responsibilities:
Bank Reconciliations - multiple accounts (both USA and Canadian accounts)
Accounts Payable postings and Journal Entries including intercompany transactions
Direct contact and relationship management with company suppliers
Reconciliation of General Ledger accounts, as well as intercompany accounts
Multi-state sales tax return completion and filing
Licensing and local tax return completion and filing
Payroll reconciliation and garnishment completion
Other responsibilities include various accounting functions, unemployment claims, employee records filings, etc.
Required:
5+ Years of experience
Advanced Microsoft Excel
ERP accounting system preferred (MAS200/Sage100)
Solid communication both written and verbal
Attention to detail
Strong Organizing skills
Experience with intercompany consolidations a huge plus
Bachelor's degree preferred
This is a part-time, direct hire opportunity.
