Senior Staff Accountant Job Opening in Irvine, California - LINQM has been engaged to help a customer with a Senior/Staff Accounting Position.
This candidate will be performing general accounting activities. This position will help ensure the success of the accounting group helping with lease accounting, prepaids, accruals and assets. The position supports the fixed assets group as a backup and helps ensure compliance with GAAP.
The candidate will be reviewing leases and ensure rent, percentage rent and occupancy cost are properly accounted for, preparing prepaid amortization, intangible assets, capitalized interest cost, accretion expense and miscellaneous journal entries, analyzing new leases and recording of capital leases
They will also be preparing reconciliations schedules for rent, percentage rent, and intangible assets
Requirements;
Bachelor?s degree, major in Accounting
3 years general accounting experience
Experience working in a corporate Accounting Department
