Our client is seeking a Software Engineer to join their growing company. High level of proficiency working on continuous improvement, utilizing SQL and C++. You will work directly with other engineers on the company?s production and development infrastructures. The qualified candidate will have experience designing, and managing performance. This is a hands-on role that will report directly to the VP of development.
Experience & Qualifications Required:
Bachelor?s degree, preferably in Computer Science or Engineering
3 or more years of experience in software development
Programming experience in C++; with a strong proficiency in SQL.
Preferred experience developing for a SaaS product
Familiarity with relational database design techniques and practices
Good verbal and written communications skills; must be able to effectively convey and document designs and processes
Microsoft SQL Server experience, including stored procedure / views / trigger design, performance tuning, and best practices
Familiarity with Microsoft Windows development environment and tools
Responsibilities include:
Full-life cycle development from requirement gathering through development.
Participation in the design, development, and modification of software applications and components in various software languages
Software testing procedures and documentation. Additional documentation of tables, structures, and data flows.
Coordination of software installation and validation with production team, while enhancing existing platforms for improved performance and scalability.
