eMerge Americas is the premier technology event connecting Latin America, North America and Europe. Taking place annually in Miami Beach, eMerge is the leading platform for Innovation in the Americas. We are currently hiring a senior sales executive for our sponsorship and exhibit sales team. We are seeking a charismatic, strategic thinker with a real passion for selling event sponsorships.
Responsibilities Include
Run all aspects of selling, relationship development and brand awareness for a defined territory in order to grow event revenue for eMerge?s annual event
Handle client relationships, expectations and delivery of value, in partnership with event operations team, throughout the event development process
Define and implement sales strategy by having thorough knowledge of the market, categories, and trends with an emphasis on the conference landscape
Cultivate positive relationships through a consultative process involving on-site meetings and presentations to decision makers at all levels
Work closely with marketing team to develop customized, solutions-oriented marketing packages that accurately represent the eMerge Americas brand while delivering on client business objectives
Qualifications
Sales and client management experience, with a strength in prospecting new business and delivering financial results
Track record of closing sales and meeting goals
Highly motivated self-starter with an entrepreneurial spirit; ability to take ownership and work independently
Event and/or media sales background recommended, though not necessary
Interest in the global technology landscape
Working knowledge of SalesForce preferred
Willingness to travel regularly both domestic and international
Ability to communicate effectively in Spanish preferred, but not required
Reports to the Chief Commercial Officer
