Project Engineer 57062 Job Opening in South Sioux City, Nebraska - Responsibilities of the Project Engineer:
Successfully completing engineering projects in a manufacturing facility;
Planning, scheduling, conducting and coordinating the technical and management aspects of projects;
Ensuring that all assigned personnel are coordinating their activities with other project participants;
Recognizing when technical problems are developing and initiating appropriate corrective action;
Regular contact with assigned project clients;
Budget monitoring and trend tracking;
Up to 25% travel;
Participating in meetings and resolving client/engineering and management project issues. Education: Bachelor?s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related disciplines.
Required Skills for the Project Engineer:
3-5+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering in a team environment;
Licensed engineer preferred;
Project management experience with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously;
Working knowledge of cost accounting, gathering production information, and production scheduling;
AutoCAD required;
SAP and PLC a plus;
MS Office skills.
