The Window Sales Coordinator position is responsible for assisting Contractor Salespeople with all aspects of the sales process for residential, commercial, and remodel construction. On this team, the Sales Coordinator is responsible for the day-to-day maintenance of customer quotes and orders. In performing a high volume of data entry, the Sales Coordinator continually demonstrates accuracy and attention to detail. Delivery requests are routed through the Sales Coordinator, so maintaining an open and positive relationship with the dispatch/delivery team is an invaluable aspect of this position. The ideal candidate will:

Utilize strong interpersonal communication skills to build positive relationships with the public, customers, fellow sales personnel, and other internal departments
Demonstrate a high level of attention to detail, while also being flexible and adaptable to the changing needs of customers (both internal and external)
A Window Sales Coordinator?s major responsibilities include:
Submitting customers? plans for material take-off, then converting take-off lists to organized and complete quotes
Writing up orders, efficiently and accurately, for will-call or delivery with consideration for customer and vendor timelines
Purchasing special-order product for customers and communicating with the purchasing team to help keep inventory at adequate levels
Building and maintaining positive relationships with a broad range of customers and business associates
Maintaining organization and confidentiality in all aspects of the business, specifically with regards to customer records
The ideal candidate will possess all of the qualifications below; however, individuals without a preferred background will be considered in the hiring process.
Required knowledge, skills, and abilities:
High School diploma or equivalent
Experience in sales and customer service
Strong organizational, mathematical, and communication skills
Ability to work unsupervised while prioritizing work and managing time efficiently
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and ability to type at least 45wpm
Desire and aptitude to learn new skills, products, and computer programs
Preferred knowledge, skills, and abilities:
Some post-secondary education (college, trade school, etc.)
Experience in the building materials or construction industry
Understanding of retail and contractor sales principles, practices, and protocols
Knowledge of dimensional lumber, panel products and other building materials
