Job Summary
This position requires the ability to identify and qualify sales opportunities within medium to large-sized manufacturing accounts. This person must penetrate new divisions and organizations within their assigned accounts, use customer relationship management techniques to develop and maintain new business relationships, offer business proposals to prospective customers, create account management plans, and provide sales status reports to management.
Objectives of job
Generate orders and manage Customers and Key-Accounts in the assigned territory. Manage relationships with customers and prospects in the Region
Ensure Order-Entry and Revenue Targets in the Region
Ensure customer satisfaction in the Region
Provide regular forecasts to the management of current and pipeline opportunities
Job tasks
Making offers to customers for client?s products and services within the rules set by Sales Pricing List (SPL) and QM-System for Order Generation
Order Generation
Negotiation of Contracts and Terms & Conditions
Product- and Company Presentations
Arrange product testing and demos with prospects
Proposal preparation
Close Contracts and final checking
Active follow-up and support including recognition and development of new projects within target companies
Provide regular and comprehensive feedback on market trends and competitive actions
Prospecting and targeting for new prospective business and clients with special emphasis on e-manufacturing
Feedback of customer?s and prospect?s expectation
Monthly Forecast (Order Entry, Revenue) for financial and production planning
Manage customer projects and maintain project files
Prepare and participate in quarterly regional and yearly international sales meetings
Rights and Competences
Making offers to customers for EOS products and services within the rules set by EOS QM-System for Order Generation
Job Requirements
Bachelor?s degree level with a minimum 2-7 years of experience selling solutions for manufacturing process improvement.
Sales experience in the High Tech manufacturing vertical is a plus
Ability and willingness to be an individual contributor
Success with target account selling, solution selling and consultative sales techniques are essential
Demonstrated ability and desire to hunt and grow accounts
Proven sales experience in selling investment goods in the areas of CAD/CAM, Tooling machines or Laser-Technology, expertise in selling Rapid Prototyping/Rapid Manufacturing systems is a distinct advantage
Experience of conducting business in the Region
Experience in working internationally is an advantage
Personal Requirements
High level of self-motivation to achieve goals and a business orientation to ensure that EOS interest as well as customers´ interests are matched is essential
Able to represent EOS in the public and versus customers in a professional and convincing way
Be a team-player who is willing to share knowledge and communicate in a transparent and clear way
Able to work independently
Able to cope with time-pressure and high work-load
Be flexible and adapt easily to changing environments
