My client are an exciting pre-IPO Network and Cloud Security vendor who are experiencing very strong YOY growth since their inception. Role:
The Pre-Sales TAM role is essentially a new business focused role, where the individual will go out and target enterprise level accounts at the C-Level. Where this role differs from your traditional new business role is that you will also be responsible for all the pre-sales activities; meaning that you are essentially responsible for the entire sales process. You will be supported initially until you're up to speed with this. Once a customer is won, you keep them for the first 12 months where you can continue to sell new solutions to them before they are handed over to the Account Management team. This is a home based role in either New Jersey or Connecticut covering the same regions.
Person:
The successful candidate will be a new business focused hunter with a strong background in the security sector. Vulnerability management would be ideal, as would Web Application Security but neither are essential. Technical experience would be a benefit due to the pre-sales side of the role, however you will be supported and trained to get up to speed on this side. A strong network of C-Level contacts in enterprise organisations will be needed as you will need to hit the ground running once you come on board. You will be able to work from home but travel through the region when needed.
