Job Description:
Contribute to the successful delivery of valuable features as part of an agile software development team by facilitating the teams understanding of user needs. Perform research and analysis of legislation and program requirements to understand what users need. Develop software specifications in the form of user stories with acceptance criteria for the design and development teams, and test solutions to be simple and intuitive, while addressing users? full experience from start to finish.
Duties:
Work with the customer and team to capture business needs as user stories with acceptance criteria
Decompose high-level epic stories into smaller, sprint-sized user stories
Contribute to the development of acceptance scenarios that illustrate the expectations of acceptance criteria (a.k.a. acceptance tests) with specific examples
Communicate effectively in both verbal and written form, as well as have an overall ability to be clear and concise in all communication
Works well as a team, as well as individually, at all levels of an organization to obtain knowledge that facilitates problem resolution
Facilitate and manage group story review session
Research background information in order to be more effective and to facilitate understanding of overall program activities
Mentor and serve as a resource for team members and Edaptive analysts on other projects
Support transition of newly hired employees to our business
Provide program and system expertise in support of the program and project leadership
Assure work products comply with established deliverable guidelines including format and content
Support sprint team as needed to meet committed sprint goals
All other duties as assigned or directed
Qualifications:
Bachelor?s Degree, preferably a technical B.S. degree in such as computer science or engineering
10+ years of experience as an analyst
2+ years of experience in agile environment
Experience with Automated Acceptance Test Driven Development is a plus
Experience with healthcare systems, quality measures, claims and/or CMS is a plus
Experience leading analysis activities of other BAs on a software development team
Education and/or formal training may substitute for experience requirement
Other: U.S. citizen or legal right to work in the United States without sponsorship
