Regional Sales Manager Job Opening in Denver, Colorado - APG-Neuros is recognized as the force behind the successful introduction of the high-speed turbo blower technology in the wastewater treatment market. Our focused approach to sound product introduction with emphasis on technical competency, high product quality, product demonstration and proximity of customer service has led to wide acceptance of our high-speed turbo blower by the industry.
The Western Regional Sales Manager is responsible for short and long term strategy development and execution relative to the profitable growth of this business in the Municipal and Industrial arenas in the Western USA (exact territories to be defined). This person must have a strong sense of leadership and have the ability to challenge existing practices.
Key responsIbilities
Participate in formulating business development goals, marketing plans and strategy.
Assess market potential and product positioning for APG-Neuros products and services; set up the strategy to enter these markets in terms of sales approach, pricing, account penetration, competitive review.
Evaluate the economic justification and positioning of various customer projects, partnerships or strategic alliances with OEMs and strategic customers in these markets.
Support company?s business development opportunities and prepare plans to effectively reach the customer base in these markets
Effectively manage customer relations in accordance with the business plans for these markets.
Provide leadership as it relates to brand image, marketing activities, exhibitions, promotions and sales support material for these markets.
Develop, in concert with other members of the management team, the long and mid-term sales forecasts in terms, annual deliveries and market penetration of these markets.
Participate in sales campaign strategy and approach, act as capture manager for major programs and conduct all activities including proposal preparation to win those programs in these markets.
Coordinate the marketing and business development efforts in the Western USA.
Qualifications
An engineering and / or business degree.
sales experience.
Knowledgeable in government municipal and/or industrial procurement processes.
Proven track record in marketing, sales and business development in municipal and industrial sector.
Has led and won a major campaign in a complex environment.
Has dealt with OEM in developing sales campaign, alliances, and partnerships .
Over five years experience in a similar position .
English, knowledge of Spanish or other languages is an asset.
