Must Haves:
Solid customer service/telephone skills required.
Ability to read and understand parts drawings/diagrams to support internal and external customers required.
Minimum of five years of machinery sales experience, with consistent track record of sales growth required.
Nice to haves:
Participate in machinery tradeshows as needed.
Duties:
Assists associates and customers with machinery related technical and sales inquiries (via telephone and NetAgent) by applying knowledge of the company products and their uses.
Builds customer relationships via exceptional levels of service to ensure customer satisfaction, retention and revenue generation.
Guides less experienced associates to resolve customer issues, increase product knowledge and promote the company culture.
Resolves more complex credit and collection issues to enhance customer service.
Provides customer service using all tools available including, but not limited to, email and the Internet.
Identifies machinery related product training opportunities and communicates them to Machinery Customer Support Manager.
Retains item-specific information and communicates it to the catalog correction team.
Communicates customer concerns to management to ensure the most effective and lasting problem resolution.
Maintains gross margin in accordance with the company machinery guidelines.
Assists branches with machinery related issues to ensure customer satisfaction and enhance sales opportunities.
Creates machinery and tooling quotations for both internal and external customers.
Follows up on quotations, looks for alternatives in removing obstacles to the buying process, and brings to a favorable conclusion (closing the sale).
Fosters the the company Culture in the department and throughout the company to ensure fulfillment of the company vision and unity of purpose.
Participation in special projects and performs additional duties as required
