Mobile Drug & Alcohol Testing Technician Job Opening in New York, New york - Summary:
Well-established occupational health testing practice in the downstate New York area seeking dependable drivers with clean licenses to join our growing team and to train as drug/alcohol testing technicians.
These positions will be involved in driving to client worksites in the tristate area scheduled by the corporate office to perform drug testing collections and breath alcohol tests required by client workplace testing policies. Most testing, however, will be performed in the downstate New York area.
Face-to-face interaction with client staff, workers, and job applicants will be required. In addition to drug and breath alcohol testing, other fitness-for-duty testing may be necessary on occasion. All necessary training will be provided .
Daily work shifts typically range from 6 - 10 hours in duration. Though the majority of testing is performed Monday through Friday during morning hours, some weekend and late afternoon/evening work may be necessary. In addition, on-call 24/7 emergency servicing may be periodically required.
Minimum Requirements:
At least 21 years of age.
A high school diploma or satisfactory combination of training and experience.
Willingness to drive company vehicles to/from client worksites in the tristate area.
A valid driver?s license with a clean driving record over the past two (2) years.
As all workdays will begin at the Tarrytown, NY headquarters, a personal vehicle to commute to this location is necessary .
Successful drug test and background screening.
Skills/Competencies:
Courteous and professional communication skills.
Careful attention to detail, with excellent organization and time management skills.
Spanish speaking a plus.
Compensation:
Entry level pay ranges from $16 per hour to $17 per hour, and is based on overall qualification, experience, and commitment to invest a minimum of thirty (30) hours per work week. This position is also eligible for healthcare coverage, paid time off, and other job benefits.
