Epiq Systems is currently seeking eDiscovery Document Review Attorneys with Life Sciences degree background for a long-term contract assignment in New York, NY (Epiq Site in Downtown Manhattan).
Qualified attorney candidates will have the following: A law degree from an ABA accredited law school in the United States; Admitted/license to practice law with at least one U.S. jurisdiction; Undergraduate or graduate degree with a major in biological/physical sciences or related life sciences field from a College of Natural Sciences department (i.e., biology, chemistry, biochemistry, molecular biology, microbiology, physics, biophysics, zoology, and etc.).
Attorneys that concentrated in pre-medical, pre-dental or pre-veterinary studies as an undergrad or post baccalaureate should note that it is not an official academic major but are encouraged to apply. Please make sure to note on your resume Studies if you took all of the appropriate coursework (i.e., 1 year of inorganic chemistry, 1 year of organic chemistry, 3 semesters of biology, 1 year of college mathematics, and 1 year of physics. REQUIREMENTS
* Education: Must have completed a law degree (LL.B. / J.D. or LL.M.)
* Degrees: A degree with a major in life sciences and a law degree are required
* Bar (Licensure): Must be admitted in any U.S. jurisdiction (active and in good standing)
* Experience: 2+ years of prior eDiscovery/Document Review Attorney experience a plus
* Review Platform (Software): DocuMatrix eDiscovery platform a plus (Client will train)
* Work Site: Must be able to work on-site in NYC; No remote/relocation available
* Work Authorization: Must be authorized to work in the U.S. (without sponsorship)

PROJECT DETAILS
* Start Date: Wednesday, August 30, 2017
* Location: New York, NY 10004 (Epiq Site ? Downtown Manhattan)
* Duration: 4-6 Months (Possibly long-term project)
* Days/Hours: 5 Days (Monday through Friday); 8-10 hours per day
* Pay Rate: $38 per hour for First Level Review Attorneys with Science degree
* Overtime Pay: No time and a half for overtime (Flat Rate)
