Class 1 Filing Rep/NYCDOB Field Expediter Job Opening in Lynbrook, New york - NYC Department of Buildings Field Expediter Wanted
Domani Consulting, Inc. is a private, full service compliance firm offering a variety of services that benefit building owners, developers and contractors within the City of New York. We have an available opportunity for an experienced expediter/filing representative to be part of our team working in the Construction Industry to fill the position of Department of Buildings Field Expediter.
Qualifications:
Class 1 or Class 2 filing representative license through NYCDOB
Bachelor degree required.
Candidates must be familiar with the current NYC Building Department procedures.
Working knowledge of the principles and terminology in the Construction Industry.
Prior work experience in the Construction Industry (with references).
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Excellent communication, Inter-personal and organizational skills.
Drivers License and automobile transportation.
Able to perform work independently and in a timely manner.
Responsibilities:
Processing and submittal of all required documents to the NYCDOB and other various city agencies.
Close out open of applications with DOB or city agencies and other required services in order to obtain Certificate of Occupancy.
Submission of various NYCDOB filing documents, obtain approvals and work permits
Coordinate with Project Managers and Office Staff from outside the office at NYCDOB Various City Agencies
Perform other duties, as assigned.
