Behavioral Mental Health Specialist Job Opening in annapolis, Maryland - Behavioral Mental Health Specialist Manage the day to day operations of a rehabilitation center. Will assist clients with conversion back to society via phyical, mental and intellectual activities. Assess clients in the program to determine if ongoing behavioral intervention is needed. 2. To provide supportive clinical assistance to the CMSW and cleints to review symptomolgoy of illness, discuss benefits and side effects of medication, and to assess medication administration. 3. Provide supportive clinical assistance to CMSWs involved in therapeutic care. 4. Provides guidance on managing emotional and behavioral conditions common to children and youth with therapeutic needs. 5. Provides home-based implementation of strategies and coaching to Mental Health patients. 6. Shall be available for deployment to transitional homes as need may arise. 7. Participates in treatment team meetings as necessary. 8. Complete all to provide Crisis Intervention for all individuals contacted when needed. (be prepared to respond to crisis, e.g. pick up a family or individual in crisis) Assist with Monitoring & provide Behavioral Chart (Behavior Tracking System)? or written explanation why it is not available (be prepared to pick up behavior charts from families.
