We currently have a great opportunity to join our Team in Abbotsford, WI .
This Counter Sales Position will:
Provide customer service to customers in person or by telephone, and all related services including product information, order entry, expediting, follow-up, and other sales tasks required
Receive payment or obtain credit information
Backup Inside Sales
Keep abreast of new product information and upcoming product promotions
Develop quotations for customers
Assist warehouse operations to ensure accurate order filling and on-time delivery of customer orders. (receive, stock, pick, ship, wire cut, WC, returns & more)
Inform the Branch Manager of in-house inventory discrepancies, and unusually large orders
Monitor delivery services to maintain customer satisfaction and cost effectiveness.
Communicate PO receipt issues with buyers, vendors and haulers as needed.
Monitor and maintain various Eclipse Queues to include: Trackers, Hold Entries, Return Goods Q for over-receipts, Tote IP Q and IP Status Q for shipping & receiving.
Maintain compliance with OSHA, DOT, Safety and other JHL policies.
Research errors on shipping orders and offer solutions.
Manage transfers between branches.
Offer suggestions and solutions to keep overall costs down.
Maintain and keep the city desk entrance clean of debris, snow, etc.
Maintain neat and orderly work areas to ensure a safe working environment
Qualifications :
High School diploma or equivalent.
Experience in customer service, sales, (electrical, plumbing or HVAC ideal)
Written and verbal communications skills.
Ability to effectively handle multiple tasks and collaborate within a multi-functional team.
Strong analytical, negotiation and decision making skills.
A team player ? work together with others to accomplish common goals of company.
Computer experience.
Math skills.
Organized with strong time management skills.
Self-motivated and self-starter.
Lifting ? Must be able to consistently lift 50 pounds throughout the working shift.
